Week is the annual event that showcases the fantastic work that
trustees do for their charities, communities and the sector. Events
all around the country will celebrate the achievements of trustees,
as well as highlight opportunities for you to get involved with a
local charity or voluntary organisation at board level.
To celebrate Trustees Week 2017 we're holding a number of
Trustees' Week Launch event - 13 November 2017,
PWC are launching the week
with a breakfast event in collaboration with WCVA and Cynnal Cymru,
showcasing the great work of Trustees and highlighting
opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and
make a difference. This session will give you valuable insights
into how the work of charity Trustees is not only crucial to the
charities they support but a vital link between the third sector
and private sectors; employers and their employees.
The effective Chair/CEO Relationship - 17 November 2017,
The relationship between the Chair and the CEO is critical to
the good governance of an organisation. WCVA is running an event
with the Association of Chairs, ACEVO and Blake Morgan exclusively
for Chairs and Chief Officers of third sector organisations in
Wales. The event will look at how to create and maintain an
effective working relationship, as well as how to spot the warning
signs and take action when problems in the relationship
occur. The event will also provide an invaluable opportunity
to network with Chairs of other organisations in Wales.

We're also holding a series of events on the theme of governance
with our Third Sector Support Wales partners during the week.
The events will look at the latest regional and national
developments in relation to governance and feature talks on the new
Governance Code and PQASSO, the quality mark for the third
